Cult Schlockers hit Blu-ray from Black House & Maison Rouge.

Italian-Spanish thriller in which a young philanderer enjoys a night in with an Italian prostitute in his father’s home. In a revenge act for being convicted by the man’s father, a judge, two psychopathic criminals break into the house. The intruders proceed to terrorise their victims in a truly brutal manner.

Best known for his erotic horror films, such as THE RAPE OF THE VAMPIRE, LIPS OF BLOOD, and THE LIVING DEAD GIRL, French filmmaker Jean Rollin frequently indulged in the softcore sex film. Among the more personal of these films is SCHOOLGIRL HITCHHIKERS (Jeunes filles impudiques), which reflects many of the themes and fascinations that run through his esoteric body of work. Joelle Coeur (Rollin’s THE DEMONIACS) and Gilda Arancio star as a pair of lovers enjoying a blissful cross-country hike. But the carefree erotic film turns suddenly dark when the women are set upon by a band of thieves who think they have stolen their loot, and use sadistic means to force a confession.

Director Renato Polselli (Delirium) delivers yet another sadomasochistic shocker set in a gothic castle. Hundreds of years ago, Jack Nelson (Mickey Hargitay) was restrained while he watched his lover Isabella (Rita Calderoni) burned at the stake for witchery. His threat that she will live again overtakes his life and he spends the next several centuries refining the method to reincarnate his precious lover. His obsession turns him into a monster, walking the Earth in search of virgins to kidnap in his attempt to raise his lover from the grave.

In a quiet country farmhouse, Britain’s vampires gather. They come together once every 50 years to discuss territories, disputes, threats and food stocks, and the approval of new members. On this night, a new face will be meeting them for the first time, and – if the vote is unanimous – could be the latest member to join their fanged ranks.

This new face, however – local lad Sebastian Crockett – merely thinks he’s on a promise with sexy cougar Vanessa.

Unluckily for all, Sebastian’s not the only guest who’ll be dropping in tonight. A detachment of Special Forces vampire killers led by Colonel Bingham has tracked the coven to this remote location, although they’ve bitten off far more than they can chew: they expected one vampire, not an entire coven.

With barely a handful of men ill-equipped to take down such a bloodthirsty clan, Bingham must keep the vampires pinned down while the fractious coven must put their own differences aside if they’re to escape before dawn.

For Sebastian, the soldiers and the coven, it may not only be the worst night of their lives. It may be their last.

So much so that he decides there and then to shut her up…PERMANENTLY! Managing to beat her home, he soon dispatches her maid Francine, before turning his rage onto her as she come home (greeting her in only wearing her jewellery and make-up). Despite the brutal injuries he unleashes on her, she manages to survive and is rushed off to hospital.
