INVASION OF THE BLOOD FARMERS comes to US Blu-ray 26th Feb from Severin Films.

In 1972, a team of New York City exploitation outlaws that included Ed Adlum (SHRIEK OF THE MUTILATED), Ed Kelleher (PRIME EVIL) and Michael & Roberta Findlay (THE TOUCH OF HER FLESH, SNUFF) – along with first-time assistant cameraman and future award-winning cinematographer Frederick Elmes (ERASERHEAD, BLUE VELVET) – descended on bucolic Westchester County with 8½ bottles of stage blood to make a movie about a Druid cult seeking to resurrect their dead queen. The budget was $24,000. The cast were paid in beer.

The result remains one of the greatest achievements in schlock/shock cinema history. THE NUN available now on Blu-ray and DVD.

When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in “The Conjuring 2,” as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

Corin Hardy delivers what is in my opinion the strongest entry in The Conjuring universe since The Conjuring (James Wan/2013). As with his impressive previous horror outing The Hallow, one of the standout horror films of 2015, Hardy’s THE NUN has more jump scares and sinister set pieces than it probably deserves! THE NUN is a satisfyigly delirious slice of demonic horror.

THE LITTLE STRANGER available now on Digital Download and DVD.

It’s time to abandon reason, question everything and see if you can uncover this unsettling case… based on the best-selling novel by Sarah Waters. The dark mysterious tale, THE LITTLE STRANGER is available on DVD & Digital Download now.

Directed by Oscar nominee Lenny Abrahamson (Room) the film stars Domhnall Gleeson (Mother! & Goodbye Christopher Robin) as Dr Faraday; Golden Globe ® winner Ruth Wilson (The Affair) as Caroline Ayres; BAFTA winner Will Poulter (The Revenant) as Roderick Ayres; and Oscar nominee Charlotte Rampling (45 Years) as Mrs Ayres.

THE LITTLE STRANGER tells the story of Dr Faraday, the son of a housemaid, who has built a life of quiet respectability as a country doctor. During the long hot summer of 1948, he is called to a patient at Hundreds Hall, where his mother once worked. The Hall has been home to the Ayres family for more than two centuries but it is now in decline and its inhabitants, mother, son and daughter are haunted by something more ominous than a dying way of life. When he takes on his new patient, Faraday has no idea how closely, and how disturbingly, the family’s story is about to become entwined with his own.

SPECIAL FEATURES INCLUDE:Commentary by Director Lenny Abrahamson / Behind The Scenes Featurette / Original Theatrical Trailer / Teaser Trailer.

As a standard in some of the greatest period-set chillers, including The Others (2001) and the Spanish classic El Orfanato (The Orphanage/2007), Lenny Abrahamson’s The Little Stranger relies on a third act reveal to ramp up the chills. While not being an outright horror or chiller The Little Stranger works best as a solid drama and a faithful rendering of Sarah Waters novel.
